These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Reel Joy mobile application (the "App"), including all associated features, content, rewards programs, and in-app services. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute a complete and legally binding agreement between you and the App operator.
This document complies fully with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines and applicable global data protection and consumer protection laws. All service rules, reward mechanisms, and user obligations disclosed herein are transparent, verifiable, and consistent with in-app functionality.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering, browsing, or otherwise using the App services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are a minor in your applicable region, you shall use this App under the supervision and consent of your parent or legal guardian.
If you do not accept any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop all use of this App. Your continued use of the App following any policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Service Description and Scope
The App primarily provides entertainment-oriented functions, including short drama streaming, content browsing, user level progression, in-app reward tasks, and points redemption services. Basic core functions are available free of charge to eligible users. The App may display contextual in-app advertisements to support ongoing service operation and content maintenance.
3. Service Adjustment and Maintenance
We continuously optimize and maintain App functions to ensure service stability. We reserve the right to upgrade, adjust, or optimize service content, features, and access rules for technical maintenance, security updates, product iteration, or legal compliance purposes.
For material service changes that affect core user rights, we will notify users through in-app announcements, pop-up reminders, or official notices in advance where reasonably practicable. We do not arbitrarily terminate or suspend complete services without legitimate grounds.
4. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct
When using our services, you agree to comply with all applicable local and international laws, platform rules, and these Terms. You shall not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, tamper with, or derive the App source code, algorithms, program structure, or internal data;
- Use automated tools, including bots, crawlers, scripts, or simulation programs, to interfere with normal App operation, tamper with task rules, or brush rewards in abnormal ways;
- Publish, disseminate, or spread illegal, violent, pornographic, abusive, infringing, or other inappropriate content through the App;
- Use the App for commercial promotion, profit resale, or any other commercial purposes beyond personal non-commercial entertainment use;
- Engage in fraudulent behaviors, including fake task completion, multi-account arbitrage, reward brushing, or any operation that violates fair service rules.
5. Violation Handling Rules
If we reasonably determine that you have violated the above obligations or applicable rules, we may take corresponding restrictive measures based on the severity of the violation, including but not limited to warning prompts, task function restrictions, reward clearance, temporary account suspension, or permanent account termination.
For violations involving fraud, illegal profit-making, or serious damage to platform security, we reserve the right to permanently disable relevant accounts and withhold improperly obtained rewards.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights within the App, including but not limited to interface design, icons, text content, program code, algorithms, and software framework, are owned by us or our authorized licensors, and are protected by global copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
All short drama audiovisual content displayed in the App is legally authorized by Pangle. All copyrighted content is used strictly within the authorized scope. Without explicit written consent from the rights holder, no user may copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, forward, or commercially use the above content in any form.
No individual or organization may use, copy, modify, or sublicense any part of the App or copyrighted content for commercial or unauthorized purposes without our prior written approval.
7. Third-Party Content and Services
The App may display third-party content, advertisements, or links to external third-party platforms. We do not operate, control, or assume responsibility for the legality, security, accuracy, or compliance of any third-party services or content.
Your access to and use of third-party resources is at your own risk. All third-party SDKs integrated in the App comply with Apple privacy and security requirements, and their data processing behaviors are governed by their official privacy policies.
8. Disclaimer and Liability Limitation
We provide App services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be completely uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible with all mobile device models under all circumstances.
We shall not be liable for any indirect losses caused by the following legitimate scenarios:
- Service interruption or failure caused by objective factors beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, policy adjustments, network failures, or third-party technical faults;
- Data abnormality or reward loss caused by users' unauthorized operation, device exceptions, network environment problems, or failure to follow official service rules;
- Third-party advertisement content and third-party service disputes.
The App provides only entertainment and auxiliary tool functions. All in-app content shall not be regarded as professional medical, legal, financial, or authoritative industry advice. Users shall bear independent judgment responsibility for all personal decisions made based on App content.
9. Reward Rules
Gold Coin Rules: Gold Coins are virtual in-app props. They can be used to unlock premium short drama content, obtain early episode access, and enjoy other in-app privileges. Gold Coins support cash redemption within the officially specified valid period and redemption rules.
10. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update these Terms irregularly to adapt to service iteration, technical upgrades, and legal requirement changes. The updated Terms will be published on the App official page with the latest update date marked. Continued use of the App after the update takes effect indicates your acceptance of the new clauses.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction without regard to conflict of law provisions. If any single clause of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall remain fully valid and enforceable.
