What is Reel Joy?

Reel Joy is a free short-drama streaming app for iPhone. It plays vertical short dramas one episode at a time and includes a Gold Coin reward system, user level progression, in-app reward tasks, and points redemption. The app is free to download and is supported by in-app advertising.

Is Reel Joy free to use?

Yes. Reel Joy is free to download, and the basic core functions are available free of charge to eligible users. The app displays contextual in-app advertisements to support ongoing service operation and content maintenance. Some premium episodes and early episode access are unlocked with Gold Coins, which you earn by completing in-app tasks.

What devices does Reel Joy support?

Reel Joy runs on iPhone with iOS 16.0 or later. The app is portrait-only, designed for vertical short drama playback on a phone screen.

What are Gold Coins?

Gold Coins are a virtual in-app prop, not real currency. You earn them by completing in-app reward tasks and check-ins. You spend them to unlock premium short drama content, obtain early episode access, and enjoy other in-app privileges.

Can Gold Coins be redeemed for cash?

Gold Coins support cash redemption only within the officially specified valid period and redemption rules. Those rules and thresholds are published inside the app's reward section, which is the authoritative source — always check there before planning a redemption.

Where does the content come from?

All short video, drama and related audiovisual content displayed in Reel Joy is legally authorized by Pangle. We have obtained formal, valid commercial copyright authorization through official cooperation with Pangle, and all licensed content is used strictly within the authorized scope.

Why does Reel Joy show ads?

In-app advertising is how Reel Joy stays free. Ad revenue funds service operation and content licensing, which is why the core viewing experience does not require a subscription or purchase.

Does Reel Joy track me? What about the IDFA?

Reel Joy collects the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) only after you explicitly grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. It is used for personalized advertising delivery and ad effect statistics.

If you decline, or if you enable "Limit Ad Tracking" in iOS Settings, Reel Joy stops collecting and using your IDFA. You can revoke the permission at any time under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

What data does Reel Joy collect?

Automatically, only service-necessary data: device model, operating system version, device type, IP address and network status, non-user-trackable diagnostic identifiers, operation logs and crash logs. With your explicit consent, also the IDFA and in-app interaction records.

Reel Joy never sells, rents, or trades personal data. The full breakdown is in the Privacy Policy.

How do I request access to or deletion of my data?

Email [email protected]. Under GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and other applicable laws you can request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or object to personalized data analysis and targeted advertising.

What happens if I use bots or multiple accounts to farm rewards?

Automated tools, fake task completion, multi-account arbitrage and reward brushing violate the Terms of Service. Depending on severity, consequences range from warning prompts and task restrictions to reward clearance, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination with improperly obtained rewards withheld.

How do I contact support?
